eHealth Queensland seeking new executives

The Queensland health department’s eHealth Queensland unit is on the search for its first chief digital strategy officer.

A job listing for the position states that the chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the department’s digital health strategy is optimal.

The new executive will report directly to eHealth Queensland's CEO and will champion the use of digital technologies in business model design.

The listing states that eHealth Queensland is going through significant organisational change, and the creation of the new role reflects this.

Besides the CDO role, eHealth Queensland is also seeking a candidate for the newly created position of chief customer experience officer (CCEO).

The CCEO will also report directly to the chief executive. The chosen applicant will be accountable for customer service performance delivered on behalf of the division and will play a key role in designing future customer experiences.

“We are seeking a proven executive who is eager to lead the redesign of the new function and establish one focused on transparency, lean and agile principles, maximisation of human and financial resources and high attention to financial and risk management,” the listing states.

The eHealth Queensland division is the department’s IT support agency and is one of the state’s largest ICT operations.
