NEC Australia gets Cisco cert for SDN solution
NEC Australia has received Cisco Secure Access Designation for its NEC Software Defined Network (SDN) solution, becoming the second Cisco partner in Australia to secure the plaudit.
NEC’s SDN solution has been designed to help businesses manage complex campus environments. It incorporates technologies including Cisco’s Digital Network Architecture (DNA), Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Network Virtualization product offerings, as well as Cisco Spaces and Thousand Eyes.
Receiving Cisco Powered designation for the solution demonstrates that it has been built to support customers’ Cisco platforms, and required an independent audit from Cisco.
NEC National Portfolio Manager Pankit Mehta said the recognition reinforces the strong partnership both organisations have established.
“We are really pleased to announce that NEC has received Cisco’s Secure Access Designation as it augments our joint ability to deploy the latest and greatest solutions across each area of business including marketing, operations, delivery and sales,” he said.
Cisco Managing Director Partner, Routes to Market and SMB Sales Rodney Hamill added that NEC has consistently demonstrated a commitment to attaining the highest level of Cisco certifications.
“We are proud of our partner in NEC and their commitment to providing expert management to help our customers make the most of these solutions and ultimately support them as they drive business outcomes,” he said.
