Inaugural AWS GenAI Accelerator cohort announced

Earlier this month, AWS Startups announced its Generative AI Accelerator, focusing on providing guidance for 10 emerging ANZ organisations in the generative AI space. The inaugural cohort was recently introduced at a launch event in Sydney.

Over the next six weeks from late July to August, these emerging generative AI startups will undergo the intensive program that includes:

Mentorship from top AI/ML industry leaders (AWS, Square Peg, Sapia.ai, Dovetail, and others).
Access to bleeding edge AI models, go-to-market strategy tailored to Generative AI, machine learning stack optimisation, with up to $200K in AWS Credits to support the compute power that Generative AI models require.
Technical deep-dives and support from best-in-class founders, AWS engineers and industry-leading experts to optimise around emerging tech and evolving business practices.

Upon completion of the 6-week program, the startups will also be able to pitch on a Demo Day to raise awareness for their business among the generative AI community including investors, potential customers and other startup community leaders.

The inaugural companies are applying generative AI across a range of disciplines:

Clearhead — Clearhead is an AI-powered employee wellbeing platform comprising an AI therapist, digital mental health tools and data insights.
Deciphr — DeciphrAI revolutionises the content creation process by transforming a single piece of content into a collection of captivating multimedia assets.
Nullify — Nullify AI is a virtual security engineer for your codebase, continuously detecting, correlating and fixing security vulnerabilities.
Outread — Outread summarises influential research papers using AI. (Blinkist for academic research.)
Predelo — Inspired by Amazon SCOT, Predelo is a Predictive Automations SaaS democratising hyper-scale forecasting and optimisation for the AI-Underserved.
Sahha — Sahha analyses mind and body data so companies can build empathetic and aware user experiences that deliver personalised health outcomes faster.
Stori — Stori is an AI-powered co-creative game design platform enabling small teams and hobbyists to build expansive game worlds.
Storybird.ai — The generative stories app. Using storybird.ai, people create and share thousands of stories per day on all topics.
UsefulBird — 10x better image generation by solving the search problem inherent in generative AI models. The AI image creation platform made for everyone.
