UltraServe Cloud Machine public cloud infrastructure

Thursday, 09 August, 2012

UltraServe has announced the next generation of its Cloud Machine service. This value-added, pay-as-you-go service builds on its range of managed and hosting services and public and private cloud computing solutions.

UltraServe was Australia’s first public cloud pay-as-you-go service (PAYG); the Cloud Machines (CM) builds on its platform with a new underlying orchestration architecture, providing a highly scalable, public cloud infrastructure. This has the benefit of providing an elastic path for organisations looking to reduce capital and operational expenses.

PAYG or plan billing is available, allowing users to select an appropriate plan to match their usage needs, with savings for customers who have high use or a known baseline requirement.

Underpinning the UltraServe Cloud Machine platform is a fast compute, storage and network architecture using the latest enterprise-grade technology such as 10G ethernet.

Designed to provide organisations with rapid scale to meet the most demanding requirements, Cloud Machines can be procured, up and running and handling requests within minutes, UltraServe claims.

UltraServe’s management tool makes it easy to deploy, manage and configure infrastructure in real time, either using a self-service web portal or API.

Customers can register online for the service through the UltraServe website: www.ultraserve.com.au.
