Telstra’s COO leaves the country
Telstra’s Chief Operations Officer, Greg Winn, has left the company to return to his home in the United States. Winn originally agreed to join Telstra for two years when he first arrived in Australia in August 2005.
As COO, Winn has headed Telstra’s networks and operations, and has been a key driver of the transformation of the company’s IT systems, networks, product development and procurement processes.
He will remain a consultant to the CEO until 31 March 2009, to ensure a smooth transition.
