Allied Telesis AT-CV5001 Converteon media converter chassis
Allied Telesis has launched the AT-CV5001, 18-slot managed Converteon media converter chassis, with efficient power supply and dual redundant hot-swappable AC or DC power supplies with up to two redundant management cards.
The efficient power supply reduces overall power consumption of a fully loaded system from 175 W in the AT-CV5000 to <140 W.
The converter offers fast ethernet or gigabit media conversion and supports all fibre types. It also gives jumbo packet, operations, administration and management and dying gasp support. It can undertake remote configurations and uploads and has resilient management support.
Suitable applications include business fibre to the premises and factory automation.
