Eaton supervision and protection products compatible with Microsoft Windows 7

Eaton has announced that its range of supervision and protection products is compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system.

Intelligent Power Manager, NetWatch, Network Shutdown Module (NSM), Personal Solution-Pac and LanSafe allow Windows 7 enterprise servers, small business and personal computers to be monitored and safely shut down during a power failure, protecting and saving valuable data.

For IT environments, Eaton’s Intelligent Power Manager can carry out a scan for all the UPS systems on the network, regardless of vendor, and discover and manage other critical power components, such as Eaton’s ePDU products and environmental sensors.

Eaton’s shutdown agents, NetWatch and NSM, provide server protection compatible with the latest Microsoft Virtualisation features (Hyper-V and Hyper-V server). They feature assisted installation with remote management.
