Fusion splicer and fibre cleaver

TechRentals has introduced the Fujikura FSM 60-S Fusion Splicer and CT30 Fibre Cleaver into its rental fleet. The FSM-60S core alignment fusion splicer incorporates a user-friendly interface with enhanced features to provide the most rugged and reliable fusion splicer.

It splices fibre in 9 s and heats a 60 mm splice sleeve in 30 s, for a total cycle time of 39 s. It is also equipped with automatic tube heater operation and automated monitor image orientation. The FSM 60-S Fusion Splicer, along with the CT30 Fibre Cleaver, can precisely align and cleave fibre. Features include: rugged construction providing shock, dust and moisture resistance, dual monitor position with automatic range orientation and automatic arc calibration and fibre identification.

The features of the CT30 Fibre Cleaver are 48,000 fibre blade life (three height and 16 positions), fibre scrap collection free and compact lightweight body.
