Intelligent power distribution units

The PM2000 and PM3000 intelligent power distribution unit (IPDU) series support per outlet level metering and switching capabilities to provide IT infrastructure professionals the tools they need to understand their available power capacity, allowing them to reduce and manage their growing power consumption costs.

The IPDUs monitor, measure, reduce and chargeback the growing power consumption costs of IT equipment while minimising any downtime that potentially could be caused by overloaded circuits or hung IT equipment.

The PM2000 and PM3000 have the ability to measure power consumption of each individual device in the rack. Thresholds can then be created to allow staff to monitor and adjust environmental properties maximising on potential issues before they impact the system, therefore minimising downtime caused by overloaded circuits, thermal and humidity etc. With the ability to support up to 22 kW and C19 outlets, they are suitable for support of the high rack density found in organisations.
