With its converged hardware management, the product provides simplicity and efficiency across the management tasks for all infrastructure assets.

Its integrated infrastructure management is claimed to be the first to manage across physical and virtual environments; Solaris and Linux operating systems; Sun SPARC and x86 servers; including firmware, clusters, Sun storage and the company’s network fabric. These management solutions for Sun systems can reduce operating costs and maximise the value of Oracle hardware investments.

Additional features include integrated application-to-disk management, life cycle management and hardware management and support, extending integration with My Oracle Support for a combination of proactive notifications and fixes with peer-to-peer knowledge sharing that enables contract/entitlement validation, automated service requests and service request tracking.
