Secure virtual classroom access on offer
While many Australian educational institutions are recommencing in-class teaching, the staggered return of students in many states means remote learning is still a sizeable component of education delivery.
In response to the need for a secure virtual environment, Tata Consultancy Services is offering access to the TCS iON Digital Glass Room virtual learning platform — free of charge — to schools and universities across ANZ.
The platform allows educators and students to connect in a safe and secure virtual environment, moving lessons from the classroom to a digital glass room.
A mobile and web-based program, TCS iON Digital Glass Room allows teachers to engage with students in real time by sharing lessons, videos, worksheets, assignments and assessments using interactive methods including polls, debates, quizzes, surveys and more.
As an add-on, the platform also provides an embedded live classroom which simulates a live learning environment, aiming to help overcome the current disruption.
An additional 15-day self-paced digital certification program, ICS iON Career Edge, has been launched, specifically designed for students and working professionals wanting to enhance their skills.
TCS iON Digital Glass Room is available until March 2021. Interested schools and universities can register using this link.
