Student Space Camp entries open

Entries are open to students aged 15–18 who are keen to attend the US-based Space Camp.

AmCham Australia and The Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship have partnered up to give four young Australian students the chance to travel to Huntsville, Alabama as members of Mission Crew #10 — TEAM AUSTRALIA.

The Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship — which was inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Apollo program — is an international scholarship program designed to assist the next generation of innovators, explorers and leaders in the global aerospace community.

For this year’s event, entrants must imagine that it is the year 2050 — and they must ensure that 35 people stay alive on a three-year journey to Titan, Saturn’s largest moon. In a three-minute video and one-page written summary, entrants must create a system to address one of the following conditions for the crew: water/food, life support, propulsion or solar radiation.
