Students head back to class
NSW public school students are heading back to the classroom full-time from Monday, 25 May, bringing two months of remote learning to an end. Many independent and Catholic schools will also reconvene for face-to-face teaching, as wiill schools across Queensland and Victoria.
Inital plans announced by the NSW Government indicated a staggered return from 11 May, with a full-time not flagged until the start of term three on 21 July.
The accelerated resumption is based on continued health advice that schools remain open. The return date will be confirmed today.
