Tech in the classroom: share your stories
Google for Education is keen to hear stories about the use of Google tech in the classroom.
The team is looking for examples of the way technology is used in unique or innovative ways — by teachers and by students — so they can share and amplify those stories to a global audience.
You'll need to emphasise the result or benefit of using Google technology on student learning or program success including specific metrics or anecdotes.
Some examples of stories include:
- Improved test results: eg, a class of underperforming students starts using Google technology and, as a result, sees improved testing results.
- Helping special education students: eg, a class for students with learning disabilities uses Google technology to help students acclimate to new environments and practise interacting with law enforcement officials.
- Students create a new business or charity: eg, a science class starts a soap company, which turns profitable and then into a charitable business. They use Chromebooks to research new soap-making methods, buy supplies, make their labels and track their sales.
