Get to grips with the future at IoT Impact 2018
Several hundred Australian and international Internet of Things (IoT) experts will assemble at University of Technology Sydney on Monday, 10 September and Tuesday, 11 September at IoT Impact 2018, Australia’s largest IoT conference and expo.
Presented by the IoT Alliance, IoT Impact will be a two-day campus for Australian business executives. The aim is to assist in raising the awareness of IoT among Australian industry and government, and to understand and plan for the impact of the IoT in Australia.
The event will comprise an exhibition of 40 local and international companies, and an extensive conference and workshop program.
The conference will have dedicated sessions on each of the six key sectors that will be most affected by IoT:
- Smart cities
- Transport
- Energy
- Water
- Manufacturing
- Food and agriculture
The conference will also have a dedicated session on the key enablers required to make IoT work:

- Data
- Technology platforms
- Artificial intelligence
- Communications networks
