Capgemini Australia opens new Canberra office
Consultancy and technology service provider Capgemini has opened a new office in Canberra. According to Capgemini ANZ CEO Paul Thorley, the new office reflects the company’s commitment to its public sector and ACT-based clients.
The office was officially opened by His Excellency Mr Stephane Romatet, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France. Capgemini was founded, and currently has its headquarters, in France.
“Our growing presence in Canberra gives us the opportunity to work more closely with government agencies. We look forward to a closer partnership with our clients and other prospective agencies looking to advance their organisational outcomes,” Thorley said.
Shelley Oldham, Vice President and Head of Public Sector at Capgemini, said: “This new Canberra location brings us into the heart of our customers’ business locations, provides a dynamic environment to test solutions and approaches, and enables us to work more closely with the agencies and our key partners.”
The office features an Accelerated Solutions Environment - a collaboration studio that Oldham says will “bring an enhanced focus on driving higher degrees of productivity and efficiency within the programs in which we are engaged”.
