Lenovo unveils new AI enabler services

Lenovo has unveiled a suite of new services and solutions designed to fast-track AI adoption within the enterprise. The new solutions include the Lenovo TruScale GPUaaS (GPU-as-a-Service) offering, which allows enterprise customers to purchase GPU power on demand using a scalable pay-as-you-go model.

Delivered as an enhancement of the Lenovo TruScale for HPC suite, the service gives organisations access to unmetered NVIDIA GPU resources and orchestration through Lenovo’s Intelligent Computing Orchestration software solution.

Meanwhile Lenovo XClarity One provides exclusive access to AI-powered intelligent support. According to Lenovo, the solution is a step forward in creating self-optimising infrastructure, and takes an AI-driven approach to systems management. The solution uses Lenovo’s new AIOps Systems Management engine to provide AI-powered predictive failure analytics and other advanced operations and management capabilities.

Xclarity One also delivers streamlined management of all connected devices from the data centre to the edge from a single interface, and uses zero trust architecture with OTP authentication to enhance security and flexibility.

Finally, new Lenovo Power and Cooling Services include the ability to harness direct liquid cooling to reduce power consumption and improve the efficiency of AI workloads. The new Lenovo services integrate hardware and facility services into a comprehensive end-to-end offering, available on demand and scalable as computing requirements change.

Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group MD for ANZ Kumar Mitra said the company’s research suggests that 83% of CIOs in the region view AI as a competitive edge, while 38% see it as a game changer.

“Australian businesses are embracing AI enthusiastically but face challenges around flexibility, affordability, and simplicity,” he said. “Lenovo’s new suite of services, including GPUaaS, addresses these concerns by expanding AI applications and simplifying their deployment. Through our significant investments in AI, we’re empowering businesses to stay ahead and thrive in today’s dynamic landscape.”
