LinkedIn unveils Australian Power Profiles
LinkedIn has announced its 2016 Power Profiles for Australia.
Power Profiles is a list of the most viewed professionals on LinkedIn in 2016. The top categories include CEOs, internet, tech start-ups, marketing and advertising, human resources and sports. These members have invested in their professional identity on LinkedIn to become the most viewed professionals in their respective fields.
Cliff Rosenberg, managing director for Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia at LinkedIn, said, “Investing in your personal brand helps grow your business brand. These Power Profiles are spending time nurturing their professional network by sharing insights and their perspective on areas that they are passionate about.”
In Australia, the most viewed profiles in the internet category include: Scott Farquhar, founder and owner at Atlassian; Matt Barrie, CEO at Freelancer.com; Laurie Patton, CEO at Internet Australia; Charlie Wood, ANZ manager at Dropbox; Tony Ward, managing director Asia Pacific at SurveyMonkey; Alistair Venn, managing director at Menulog; Alexandre Meyer, co-founder and CEO at Vaniday Australia; and Richard Webb, venture catalyst, investor, serial Entrepreneur, adventurer, disrupter and father.
The most viewed profiles in the tech start-up category include Martin Hosking, CEO at Redbubble; Mark Harbottle, co-founder of 99designs, SitePoint, Flippa, Learnable, founding investor at Hired, Influx, Promise Pay; Jost Stollmann, CEO at Tyro Payments Limited; Beau Bertoli, joint CEO at Prospa; and Murray Hurps, general manager at Fishburners, founder of Ad Muncher, Startup Muster and Feedback Fast.
