Netregistry offers free online accounting to customers
Domain registrar and hosting provider Netregistry will offer two years of free online accounting software to all of its 250,000 customers, following an investment in online accounting provider Reach Accounting.
The deal for the two years of free software is open to all Netregistry customers.
The first 3000 customers to sign up for the deal will receive an extra three years of use, for a total of five years of free access.
To activate the deal, customers must log into their Netregistry console.
Netregistry CEO Larry Bloch said: “Having provided services for small businesses for over 13 years, we realised too many small businesses still relied on the shoebox method of accounting.
“As we all know, the world’s most popular software, such as Gmail, Twitter and Facebook, are free,” Bloch said.
“Consumers have been getting such free software for years and now we feel that it’s time businesses were offered similar benefits,” he said.
Var Fernando, Reach Accounting CEO, said his company needed a way to get its product to a wider market, and that Netregistry was a “perfect partner”.
“This investment enables us to remain 100% Australian owned and provides sufficient cash and non-cash resources to help us develop our brand with a national marketing and deployment campaign,” Fernando said.
