New agreement between Smith Micro Software and Telecom New Zealand
Smith Micro Software has announced the expansion of its global footprint through an agreement with Telecom New Zealand. Under the terms of the deal, the Smith Micro Software QuickLink Mobile connection manager will power Telecom’s complete line of modem devices designed for PCs and netbooks.
“Today’s wireless broadband subscribers demand ubiquitous access to information and content, making mobile connection management software a critical offering by mobile operators to maintain a competitive edge and attain customer loyalty,” said Smith Micro Software President and CEO William W Smith, Jr. “Telecom New Zealand is an important QuickLink Mobile customer for Smith Micro and aptly demonstrates both our expansion into a new market and the growth opportunities that exist for connectivity solutions in the global marketplace.”
