NBN Co loses third head of construction in three years
NBN Co's head of construction, Richard Thorpe, is leaving the organisation. Thorpe will be the third construction head to leave the company in three years.
NBN Co COO Greg Adcock announced Thorpe's departure to NBN Co staff in an internal email, according to the AFR.
Thorpe began his role as NBN Co's construction executive general manager a little over 12 months ago in January 2013, replacing Dan Flemming.
Thorpe will be temporarily replaced by Peter Ryan. Jan de Kock will replace Ryan as the company's acting implementation general manager.
NBN Co has yet to officially comment on the reasons for Thorpe's exit. We'll update this story once we receive word from NBN Co.
