VeEx MLX100 Metro Loopback Expert ethernet loopback device

The VeEXMLX100 Metro Loopback Expert is an intelligent ethernet loopback device developed as a companion to the MX100+, MX120+, MX300 and TX300 products. Loopback control can be performed in-band or via the built-in 10/100Base-T ethernet port via an internet connection.

When paired with the compatible MX/TX series, the MLX100 is a cost-effective solution for point-to-point service level agreement (SLA) verification and end-to-end performance testing.

Features include: suitable for testing transparent, switched, routed and next-generation carrier-grade ethernet networks; 10/100/1000Base-T electrical port (IEEE802.3), RJ45; 1000Base-X optical port supporting hot swappable, MSA-compliant SFP transceivers; BERT, RFC2544 and throughput application eliminating the need for an expensive remote test partner; smart loop mode for Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3 and Layer 4; intelligent device discovery mode; in-band loopback control - accepts loopback commands from MX100+, MX120+, MX300 or TX300; out-of-band operation via 10/100Base-T ethernet management port and ReVeal software; activate a loopback profile from a remote location; default loopback profile storage for fast and easy loopback ready boot-up; RS232 supervisory port to configure IP address; remote control capability and loopback profile creation/upload through ReVeal PC software.
