FirstWave touts the benefits of cloud-based security

A new wave of cyber attacks targeting businesses with onsite cybersecurity systems highlights the risks of insecure customer premises equipment (CPE), according to Australia’s FirstWave Cloud Technology.

The company has been able to maintain its 100% success rate of defending against cyber attacks, in contrast to the recent spike in attacks on CPE, according to CEO Danny Maher. He said this demonstrates the importance of cloud-based security platforms.
