Orro launches National Cyber Defence Centre
Orro has launched a National Cyber Defence Centre (NCDC) to safeguard organisations against evolving cyberthreats.
The NCDC integrates existing state-of-the-art security operations centres (SOC) in Sydney, Brisbane and the UK, bringing together a team of security analysts, penetration testers, incident responders and security consultants.
Beyond cybersecurity, the NCDC offers access to experts in network security, architecture, engineering and design across Orro, elevating the value delivered to customers beyond traditional cybersecurity services.
Operating as a single team, the NCDC is strategically located between Orro’s security hubs in Sydney and Brisbane, complemented by on-the-ground resources in Melbourne and Perth. To support the Australian-based team, Orro has established a contingent of cybersecurity analysts in the United Kingdom to provide 24/7 follow-the-sun coverage.
“With over 20 years of experience securing government and enterprise clients, Orro is uniquely equipped to support organisations at every stage of their security journey, helping them mature and stay resilient in the face of evolving threats,” said Rob Merkwitza, Chief Strategy Officer.
“Combining the expertise of over 80 cyber professionals, the National Cyber Defence Centre sets a new standard of excellence in the industry. We are excited to collaborate with new and existing clients to help them navigate the complex cybersecurity landscape with confidence,” he said.
