Ixia has released iBypass VHD, a modular, high-density, inline bypass switch. The product can improve security infrastructure uptime and overall reliability with consistent network visibility and monitoring. It supports both active-standby and active-active network/security architectures.
The bypass switch offers preset, integrated security tool heartbeats built into the user interface. Preconfigured to automatically integrate with security tools, the product is designed for rapid set-up and delivers immediate time to value.
It supports up to twelve 10 G bypass switches in one unit, three times more than previous versions, to maximise valuable data centre real estate.
