LiteSpeed for SQL Server multi-instance backup management update

The updated version of LiteSpeed for SQL Server provides multi-instance backup management so DBAs can easily apply consistent backup strategies across the entire SQL Server environment.

The version’s backup templates feature enables DBAs to design and, when needed, modify SQL backup strategies and easily deploy them to the entire SQL Server environment across the organisation.

LiteSpeed also now includes an adaptive compression feature which automatically performs real-time adjustments to backup compression in response to changing server loads. Users can automatically leverage available server resources for optimal backup processing and smaller backups in the shortest possible time - all without affecting other SQL Server operations or processes running.

Adaptive compression is now supported by LiteSpeed’s Fast Compression technology, which can reduce backup storage and backup time by up to a claimed 85% over other solutions by intelligently backing up only database changes.
