Global Storage has launched three services: EnvironmentReady — Enterprise Managed Disaster Recovery, DataReady — Enterprise Managed Backup and DataReady — Enterprise Managed Backup.

EnvironmentReady is a high-availability system which aligns application recovery to business unit requirements utilising the latest server virtualisation, continuous remote replication and deduplication technology to enable organisations to recover locally or remotely to almost any point in time for mission-critical applications, while providing granular online point-in-time recovery for all other applications, regardless of the type of failure or data loss.

DataReady is a fully managed online backup service that eliminates the heavy reliance on tape and tape systems allowing customers to benefit from reliable remote backups more cost effectively than internal tape-based systems. It uses data deduplication technology to provide granular daily backup and to allow full server backups that can be completed in minutes. It also provides customers with a minimum of 3 months’ online data retention and allows customers to quickly and easily restore data online.

DataReady enterprise managed archival service is a next-generation content archival service for immediate email and file system archiving, eDiscovery, recovery, disaster recovery and storage management all delivered as a fully managed service.
