ATEN ANZ, a provider of AV/IT connectivity and management solutions, has released the VE1843 True 4K HDMI/USB HDBaseT3.0 Transceiver, which can be set to the direction (Tx/Rx) required while enabling long-distance uncompressed True 4K transmission via one Cat 6A cable, providing effortless installation and flexibility. With its user-oriented hardware design and enhanced durability, this model is purpose-built for spaces that require long-distance yet high-quality signal transmission with easy installation and non-stop operation, such as conference rooms, auditoriums, banquet halls, museums and public areas.

To fulfil the demand for high-performance conferencing solutions, the VE1843 has been designed to offer superior video quality even when output devices are located far away, and through HDBaseT 3.0 it can deliver uncompressed 4K@60 Hz 4:4:4 HDMI up to 100 m/328 ft over a Cat 6A cable with zero latency control over USB, IR, RS-232 and Ethernet signals.

The VE1843 enables users to streamline complex installation and enjoy multi-signal control by using a single Cat 6A cable to extend signals, including high-quality video, audio, IR, RS-232, Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0. The VE1843 also integrates the functions of a transmitter and a receiver into one device, with a tailored fanless fin heat sink enclosure to provide efficient thermal dissipation and non-stop signal transmission while improving durability. The VE1843 supports HDMI audio embedded/de-embedded functions and HDMI local output, and features a built-in ATEN default EDID to improve interoperability between HDMI sources and display.
