The ATEN VS1818T HDMI-over-single-Cat 5 splitter provides a fast and efficient way to switch high-definition video from one input source to eight displays. When used in unison with compatible HDBaseT receivers, the VS1818T becomes a complete solution suitable for any installation that requires HDMI content to be delivered to multiple destinations located up to 100 m away from the source.

Implementing HDBaseT extension technology to connect to receiver units over one single Cat 5e/6 cable, the VS1818T is able to transmit rich HDMI multimedia content in real time. It also supports resolutions up to 4K and features an EDID selection method, ensuring constant and reliable EDID data relay for the HDMI source device and efficient video resolution optimisation.

The VS1818T is suitable for a wide range of applications, such as: in-store or tradeshow digital signage; information broadcasts at public locations (eg, flight times at an airport, weather and tide forecasts at beaches); sporting events; theatres and lecture rooms; and classrooms and company training facilities.
