Brother PT-D800W P-touch spec desktop labeller
Brother has launched its PT-D800W spec desktop labeller. The product has a print speed of 60 mm/s and a large size tape in the P-touch range. At 36 mm wide, it has near edge-to-edge printing and 32 mm print width.
The printer is a standalone machine with battery option, so it can be used on the move. It is lightweight and durable, with a secure carry handle for immediate portability and an in-built storage area for label tapes and the included AC adapter.
The product has a PC-style keyboard with an integrated backlit display that can be locked in place on the top of the device when being carried, then placed in front of the machine when in use. Users can design a label on their PC then print using the USB or Wi-Fi connectivity.
The product can also be used with a mobile cable label tool, a free app developed specifically to create labels for telecom, datacom and electrical installations. The app includes an extensive cloud-based hub of up-to-date design templates and electrical symbols.
