Dell has added to its Inspiron series of 2-in-1 laptops with the 5000 range, available in 13″, 15″ and 17″ sizes. The compact 13″ is lightweight and suitable for everyday travel, while the 15″ has 40% more screen room.

The 15″ and 17″ laptops are versatile machines that come with an array of processor options for fast, responsive performance. Featuring a FHD True-life LED-Backlit Touch Display, they are suitable for families who share a PC and for consumers interested in personal use, such as entertainment. The optional infrared camera with the Windows Hello feature allows users to log in with a look at the camera, providing extra security and convenience. A backlit keyboard option makes working in dim environments simpler.

For scalability and storage, an optical DVD drive and optional Blu-ray writer (not available on the 17″ AMD model) may be added, suitable for backing up photos, videos and data. Available SSDs provide longer battery life, quicker responsiveness and improved shock resistance as compared to conventional rotational HDDs. Up to 16 GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory is suitable for multitaskers who switch between open applications.

With an innovative 360° hinge, the versatile and lightweight device allows the user to switch easily between four different modes. Tent mode is suitable for using recipes in real time, stand mode for movies on an aeroplane, laptop mode for typing and tablet mode for browsing and reading. Stylish and attractive with a glossy finish, the products come in Midnight Blue, Bali Blue and Tango Red colour options.
