Inmarsat IsatPhone Pro global handheld satellite phone

The IsatPhone Pro global handheld satellite phone has a robust handset, long battery life and is suitable for users both at sea and in remote locations. It is supported by the Inmarsat existing satellite network and uses technology customised for use in harsh environments.

The phone offers up to 8 h talk time and up to 100 h on standby. The handset is IP54 compliant and is dust, splash and shock resistant. It is also capable of operating from -20 to +55°C, which is claimed to be the widest temperature range of any satellite phone.

Suitable for professional users in government, media, aid, oil and gas, mining and construction sectors, the phone offers satellite telephony, text and email messaging. Location data can also be viewed and sent in a text message.

Its design allows the handset to be placed on its side for easy hands-free use via Bluetooth and includes a fully manoeuvrable antenna. It has an intuitive GSM-style interface with a high-visibility colour screen and a larger keypad for easy dialling.
