OPPO has launched its latest smartphone for the Australian market, the R9, which builds on its predecessor, the R series.
Improving on previous models, the product features OPPO’s low-voltage VOOC Flash Charge technology, which allows a user to achieve a 75% charge in half an hour. The technology ensures the phone’s internals are not at risk with excessive heat and allows users to continue to use their phone freely while flash charging.
The smartphone also features a 16 MP front-facing Hi-Light Camera, which provide strong front-facing shots. This is due to its sensor, which arranges pixels in a special pattern designed to maximise image quality, resulting in photos that are clear, bright and striking in colour. In addition, the product also comes with front-facing fingerprint recognition, making it the first OPPO product to offer this feature. It is able to recognise fingerprints (even when wet) to unlock the phone in only 0.2 s.
