2016 ANZIA winners announced
The Australia and New Zealand Internet Awards (ANZIAs) have celebrated the achievements of individuals and organisations that have set new benchmarks for the internet industry.
The ANZIAs are a collaborative effort between auDA and InternetNZ and aim to commend those who have made a positive contribution to the accessibility, security and innovation of the internet. It is also an opportunity for attendees to connect with community members who have a genuine interest in the continued development and maintained security of the internet.
Cameron Boardman, CEO of auDA, said, “As my first ANZIA event as CEO, I was struck by the incredible atmosphere and genuine excitement of the community to celebrate such valuable contributions from our finalists. It is encouraging to see such diversity and innovation across the wider tech sector. auDA is particularly proud of the success of four Australian applicants, who took home ANZIA trophies this year.”
InternetNZ's chief executive, Jordan Carter, said, “All of the finalists are testament to the innovative work happening on the internet. I am particularly proud of the New Zealand winners — shining a light on some of the best internet-based products in Australasia.”
