Accenture names new business lead for Australia and NZ

Accenture has appointed Robert Easton to lead the company’s business in Australia and New Zealand.

Easton had previously served as the company’s sales and growth and strategy lead for Australia and New Zealand. He has been with Accenture for more than 18 years.

“Bob brings deep industry, strategy and consulting experience, a track record for developing enduring client relationships and a strong commitment to our people,” said Gianfranco Casati, Accenture’s group chief executive for growth markets. “He is well placed to make a difference to our business and people in Australia and New Zealand.”

Easton will succeed Jack Percy, who will continue as head of Accenture’s business in South Korea. Percy joined Accenture in 1983 and has held various leadership roles during his tenure. He began leading Accenture’s business in Australia and New Zealand in 2010 and his responsibilities expanded to include South Korea in 2014.

“I want to recognise and thank Jack for his significant contributions to our clients and people in Australia and New Zealand for the past eight years,” said Casati.

“I am incredibly proud of the team and the market-leading business we have built in Australia and New Zealand,” said Percy. “Bob is the perfect choice to lead the next chapter for Accenture in these markets, and I wish him and the team continued success.”
