Adobe appoints new ANZ Director of Digital Experience

Adobe has appointed Jeremy Smith as Director of Digital Experience (DX) for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), to create transformational customer experiences and capture the market opportunities in this region. Smith joins Adobe following nine years at Salesforce, where he held various senior sales leadership positions and led regional growth initiatives for its marketing and advertising cloud products across Asia–Pacific and Europe. Most recently, Smith was Vice President and Head of Retail for Salesforce UK and Ireland, responsible for retail growth opportunities.

Smith will report to Suzanne Steele, Adobe’s Vice President and Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, who welcomed Smith onto her ANZ leadership team.

“Jeremy is an experienced, strategic and creative leader with a proven track record of delivering growth across different markets and industries. His experience in empowering enterprise customers along their digital transformation journeys will help us to capture new business opportunities and support our continued growth and leadership in this region,” Steele said.

Based in Sydney, Smith will help drive growth for the Adobe DX business in ANZ, leading both sales and business development teams to help enterprise customers and brands to navigate what Smith defines as ‘the digital imperative’.

“I am excited to join the Adobe Australian and New Zealand team to help businesses and brands deliver more engaging and personalised digital experiences for their customers. Australia and New Zealand are pivotal markets for Adobe with this region delivering strong growth for several years. During 2020 brands have prioritised digital transformation and digital experiences for their customers, and we saw a surge in a need for creativity and digital documents. Digital has become the way for people to connect, work, learn and be entertained, and Adobe’s mission to change the world through digital experiences has never been more relevant,” Smith said.
