CPS Technology Group acquires Accent
CPS Technology Group, a provider of integrated contact centre, unified messaging and hosted cloud and on premise-based solutions has acquired Accent Business Technology (Accent), a provider of business technology solutions specialising in unified communications, mobility solutions, corporate IT solutions, integrated communication solutions and managed services.
The acquisition will enable CPS Technology Group to leverage Accent’s existing suite of business technology solutions and its long-standing partnerships with key industry vendors, to provide a broader depth of business communications solutions and services to its customers. In addition, it will help CPS Technology Group to increase its share in the business communications market and deepen relationships with existing business partners.
Accent Business Technology is a Microsoft Gold Certified UC partner, Total Solution Provider to Telstra, NEC Business Partner, Cisco Select Partner and Acer Gold partner. The company employs 38 people in the greater Wollongong and Sydney areas and is a founding member and shareholder of the Halogen Group.
“The combination of Accent’s solutions and partner network and our best-of-breed solutions, will provide clients with greater access to a range of business technology solutions that will help maximise their productivity and profitability,” said Seamus Nash, Managing Director of CPS Technology Group. “The acquisition is also expected to result in greater efficiencies and will significantly increase our market share.”
Accent Business Technology will continue to operate under its existing name, and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of CPS Technology Group.
