Dell launches $14bn COVID-19 payment flexibility program
Dell has launched a new US$9 billion ($14.26 billion) program designed to provide financial relief to customers struggling during the COVID-19 crisis.
The company’s new Payment Flexibility Program will provide zero-interest financing for all Dell Technologies server, storage and networking solutions, with either 24- or 36-month terms.
In addition, Dell will offer the ability to defer their first payment by up to 180 days for all data centre infrastructure and services, as well as short-term options for refreshing laptop and desktop equipment to support remote work and learning.
Dell will also offer a new one-year term pay-for-use flexible consumption offerings in the Dell Technologies On Demand program, which covers converged, hyperconverged, hybrid cloud, storage and data protection infrastructure.
Partners with existing arrears can also request a payment extension of 45 to 90 days with Dell Technologies’ concurrent Working Capital Solutions Program.
Dell Technologies MD for Australia and New Zealand Angela Fox added that the new program is designed to enable customers to adapt to the COVID-19 crisis while maintaining business continuity.
“From the ongoing conversations with our customers in Australia and New Zealand, we recognise that choice and flexibility are the most valuable tools we can offer to help at this time,” she said.
“With the next steps for both local and international markets still unknown, this program, in conjunction with our Partner Relief Package, will allow businesses and our partners to plan and invest in both their near and long term futures.”
