MuleSoft launches API management capabilities

MuleSoft has launched new universal application programming interface (API) management capabilities designed to enable IT teams to securely create, manage and govern any API across any environment and technology.

The new API management capabilities include Anypoint Flex Gateway, API Manager, API Experience Hub, API Designer with event-driven capabilities and API Governance. They have been built directly on the Anypoint Platform, MuleSoft’s unified platform for integration, API management and automation.

The enhanced capabilities allow organisations to improve enterprise security and manageability across any API, environment or architecture; deploy and monitor services across any cloud or environment from a single portal; and accelerate time to market by building APIs in any language. API Governance meanwhile allows companies to operationalise their governance across all their enterprise APIs to help comply with industry regulations and internal design standards.

MuleSoft Chief Product Officer Meir Amiel said the new capabilities have been designed to address evolving market demands.
