Op Central launches Vax Central for businesses

A second Australian company has launched a software solution for helping businesses keep track of their employees’ COVID-19 vaccination status.

Operations, training and compliance management software company Op Central has launched Vax Central, which is designed to support businesses across Australia to manage the process of gathering, protecting and reporting the data associated with staff vaccinations.

The new service is available free to existing Op Central clients or can be accessed as a separate standalone paid service. Businesses can use the solution to develop a portal for staff to submit their vaccination data using a secure web form.

Op Central CEO Josh Cairns said the system has been designed to be secure, user-friendly and fast to use. “It takes less than 10 minutes to set up a company-branded portal and just 60 seconds for a staff member to activate their account and upload their vaccination certificates, minimising administrative time for everyone,” he said.

All data is stored in Australia and businesses retain 100% ownership of their data. Vax Central has strict data visibility control settings, allowing businesses to set who can view vaccination data, including customised limited access.

Last month, ELMO Software launched its own solution for helping businesses manage employees’ vaccination status — COVIDsecure.
