Shopify launches global ERP program for retailers
Commerce infrastructure platform Shopify has launched a new global enterprise resource planning (ERP) program in partnership with major ERP providers including Microsoft.
The new program will allow retail and e-commerce businesses to access ERP tools required to manage their operations.
Merchants will be able to access a suite of ERP apps directly from the Shopify platform and use the platform to integrate their ERP system with their commerce operations.
As well as Microsoft, Shopify is partnering on the program with Oracle NetSuite, Infor, Acumatica and Brightpearl. The program is an extension of the existing Shopify Plus Certified App Partner Program.
The direct integration with ERP partners will also allow merchants to implement more automation into their operations.
Shopify Managing Director for APAC Shaun Broughton said the program is now available to merchants across the region.
“We are proud to support businesses through every step of their journeys, regardless of their size, maturity or complexity,” he said.
“Shopify’s integration with leading ERP providers gives merchants — especially those running multiple stores across different geographies, sub-brands and audiences — the power to manage their business operations directly in their Shopify stores.”
