Teradata announces integration with DataRobot

Cloud database and analytics company Teradata has announced integration of its VantageCloud ClearScape Analytics solution with the DataRobot AI Platform. DataRobot is an AI company focused on delivering a unified platform for generative and predictive AI.

Teradata said that through integration with ClearScape Analytics, the platform will enable enterprise customers to import and operationalise DataRobot’s AI models inside the VantageCloud platform. The new functionality is available through ClearScape Analytics’ Bring Your Own Model capability. Joint customers will be able to access advanced analytics to allow for scalable AI operationalisation, with deployment possible across all cloud providers or on-premises.

Using ClearScape Analytics’ model scoring functions, DataRobot models can be scaled easily and cost-effectively with no additional licence cost.

Teradata SVP of Product Management Daniel Spurling said the two solutions are a perfect match.

“DataRobot is known for its top-tier and accurate models, and VantageCloud delivers the incredible scale and efficiency that modern enterprises require. Together, broad model output can be explainable, governed and actionable,” he said. “AI potential is increasing rapidly, and Teradata and DataRobot are paving the way for organisations to accelerate adoption of Trusted AI, at a scale that matters.”

DataRobot Chief Product Officer Venky Veeraraghavan welcomed the collaboration.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Teradata to bring enhanced value to our customers across industries,” he said. “Our collaboration further empowers businesses to accelerate their AI journey with the flexibility, optionality and rapid speed they need to move from experimentation to deployment safely and with confidence. Together, Teradata and DataRobot are empowering enterprises to unlock the full potential of their data assets and thrive in the era of AI-driven transformation.”
