Konica Minolta A3 multifunction printers

Konica Minolta Australia has launched two colour A3 multifunction printers (MFPs). The bizhub C450i and bizhub C650i are next-generation multifunction devices that offer fast solutions for document handling and serve as an intelligent device. The printers can be tailored to meet the requirements of each business with applications that are available from Konica Minolta’s Marketplace, which is pre-installed on every device.

The new models have an intuitive smartphone-style user interface with a tiltable, floating 10″ panel and feature a card-type quick copy screen and various apps with integrated guidance. In addition, widget technology allows embedding and operating functionality directly from the MFP’s home screen, shortening the time spent in front of the MFP. This provides a natural and familiar user experience that is common across all bizhub i-Series devices.

High-performance operation and quick response is provided by a quad-core central processing unit and standard 8 GB of memory with a 256 GB SSD (upgradeable to optional 1 TB SSD). The new A3 colour MFPs offer a choice of 45, 55 or 65 ppm print speeds.

The MFPs feature a dual-scan document feeder that can accommodate up to 300 sheets, with a faster 280 ipm scan speed and double-feed detection sensors. Finishers with an integrated manual staple feature are also available as an option. The MFPs have an automatic intelligent media sensor that can detect paper weight and media type, to help reduce user error and unnecessary support requests, leading to fewer paper jams and boosting productivity.
