Ruckus launches AI-driven network solutions
CommScope has launched a series of AI-driven solutions for enterprise networking from subsidiary Ruckus Networks. The new solutions integrate generative, edge and intent-based AI features with the Ruckus Wi-Fi 7 portfolio to help customers optimise enterprise networks.
Solutions include IntentAI, an AI-driven, intent-based enterprise networking solution; GenAI Powered Zero-Touch Network for zero-touch network provisioning; and the EquiFlex end-based AI solution for augmenting network capacity.
Other new solutions include an AI-driven Network-as-a-Service platform from Ruckus Managed Networks; a template-based configuration management solution; and a portfolio of AI-driven Wi-Fi 7 indoor and outdoor access points.
Ruckus Networks and partner Nokia are also previewing a jointly developed solution that combines Nokia's latest optical LAN solution with Ruckus Wi-Fi access points and the Ruckus One cloud-based network management platform.
Nokia's Optical LAN has been designed to provide high-capacity network capabilities for in-building and campus connectivity at a fraction of the cost of traditional copper-based LAN technologies. Integration with the Ruckus One platform will allow it to be used to manage Nokia's optical LAN network with AI-driven management capabilities. The joint solution is currently being previewed and will launch later this year.
CommScope SVP and President for Networking Intelligent Cellular and Security Solutions Bart Giordano said AI is the driving force behind modern networks.
"Our new range of solutions takes the latest AI innovations and blends them seamlessly into our leading portfolio of Wi-Fi access points to provide a truly enterprise-grade platform that enables new network efficiencies while making management and automation as smart and simple as possible," he said.
