Melbourne Storm uses Aussie system for record keeping
An Australian IT and software development firm, Kiandra System Solutions, has developed a Microsoft Windows-based custom software solution for its customer, eNoteFile Services.
“eNoteFile has evolved the concept of putting pen to paper to a whole new level. Built using the latest in Microsoft .NET WPF technology, the solution allows you to create, manage and share records in a secure online and offline environment,” said Martin Cooperwaite, Kiandra’s Software Development Director.
An organisation’s data is automatically backed up with eNoteFile’s secure internet cloud-based infrastructure, and it can also perform additional backups to any standard storage device.
Melbourne Storm uses eNoteFile to store records on player injuries and treatments. Melbourne Storm physiotherapist Mary Toomey says, “We use eNoteFile to record the types of injuries the players sustain, how they are sustained and the treatment notes. eNoteFile has made it easier to manage our player records.
“eNoteFile allows us to download information on the field and easily access a player’s medical history. We can also talk to any one of the other Melbourne Storm medical staff about a player, and if they are located off site or interstate, they can look at the records in real time and know exactly what you are talking about.
“eNoteFile is incredibly useful because it is so easy to use. It’s a simple program that allows you to enter data easily and quickly. Because it has been designed to use primarily with tablets, you can enter more complex information more efficiently.”
