Brother PT-P900W and PT-P950NW P-touch label printer range

Brother has released a high-resolution P-touch label printer range. The PT-P900W and PT-P950NW label printers have print speeds of 60 mm/s and a large width tape compatibility of 36 mm. With a 32 mm print height, the printers provide near edge-to-edge printing.

They also have USB and Wi-Fi connectivity as standard, while the PT-P950NW additionally offers wired networking and optional Bluetooth connectivity to allow multiple PCs, rugged PDAs and tablets to print labels from the free P-touch Editor label design software.

These models can be used away from a power source due to the optional rechargeable lithium battery. The PT-P950NW also has the choice of a touch panel display to print personalised labels, without requiring the use of a PC.

The product can print durable TZe laminated labels, which have been tested against the effects of temperature, chemicals, abrasion, sunlight and water.

For professional trades, the mobile cable label tool app has been developed specifically to create labels for telecom, datacom and electrical installations. It includes an extensive cloud-based hub of up-to-date design templates and electrical symbols, to ensure efficient on-demand labelling while on the job.
