Epson’s DS-32000 large-format document scanner is suitable for use in busy, high-volume offices. It’s designed to produce up to 90 pages/min, with a peak daily duty cycle of 40,000 sheets. It can accommodate sheets up to 30 x 43 cm, folded pages, plastic cards, sealed envelopes and passports.

The compact desktop scanner has vertical and horizontal feed options, a 120-sheet auto document feeder, dual-sided scanning, a programmable 6.9 cm touch screen and a paper-protection function. It also includes ‘Slow Mode’ for delicate sheets, double-feed detection and dynamic skew correction.

The scanner comes with TWAIN and ISIS drivers, as well as OCR and document capture software, allowing users to create searchable PDFs and scan, save and share documents in online storage accounts. It also has colour contact image sensor optics which aim to accurately reproduce colour, including highlighted text.

It will be available in Australia from May 2020.
