Migrated email retention

Thursday, 02 April, 2009

Dynamic Data Migrator allows enterprise users migrating from Lotus Notes/Domino to Microsoft Exchange — and vice-versa — to access legacy emails created in their previous messaging environment.

The system is designed to reduce the costs, timelines and risks usually associated with conversion projects.

It provides end users with secure access to their legacy email directly from the new messaging client, without requiring the bulk conversion of email. Original records remain unchanged and are retained with full fidelity.

If messages are required in the new messaging environment, the message is dynamically converted to Exchange (or Notes) format, along with any attachments, links to applications, encryption (with available keys) and web links.

This approach also avoids having to lock in decisions regarding the conversion of Domino applications, allowing a planned and incremental conversion process.
