Mobile application development

The 3300 Series Mobility Services Engine from Cisco is an appliance-based platform, offering an open application programming interface (API) for consolidating and supporting an array of mobility services across wireless and wired networks.

Four software products are available for the platform: Context-Aware Software, Adaptive Wireless Intrusion Prevention System, Secure Client Manager and Mobile Intelligent Roaming.

The platform and its software integrate with the Unified Wireless Network portfolio, Unified Communications Manager and Cisco-compatible devices to expand the reach and value of an enterprise’s mobility system.

Several application and solution partners have integrated or plan to integrate with the platform, including Nokia, Oracle, AeroScout, Agito Networks and Airetrak.
