NXPowerLite software automatically optimises Microsoft Office documents and JPEG files, often achieving more than 65% reduction in file size. Optimised files remain in their original file format, meaning no special actions or software are needed to continue using the optimised file.

Suitable for situations where users access work documents from their iPhone and Blackberry devices, the software reduces the size of individual documents, speeding up download times and limiting the impact on mobile phone bandwidth quotas.

Both a server and desktop client edition are available. The file server edition provides scheduled background optimisation of centrally stored files, resulting in an automatic and unobtrusive implementation for users. The desktop client edition is available for systems running Windows 2000 or later, and optimises files as they are attached to emails as well as allowing users to selectively optimise files.
